Simply Roasted Southern Selects Artichokes
- 4 Southern Select Artichokes
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 4 Cloves garlic, peeled & crushed
- Kosher Salt
Wash all vegetables. Preheat oven to 425°F.
Place the artichokes stemside facing down in a bowl and drizzle with lemon juice.
Gently, slightly seperate the artichoke leaves by hand.
Using a knife, create a garlic klove space in the center of the artichoke.
Drizzle olive oil on each artichoke.
Place one garlic clove, salt and seasoning in each of the artichokes.
Tightly wrap each artichoke twice with heavy duty aluminum foil.
Bake in over until sizzling, about 1 hour and 20 minutes.
