Southern Selects Heirloom Tomato Caprese Salad
- 3-4 Heirloom tomatoes (try mixing varieties)
- 12 ounces fresh Mozzarella packed in water
- 1 bunch fresh basil leaves
- 1/4 cup Balsamic dressing (your favorite dressing will work well here)
- Course sea salt or kosher salt
Slice tomatoes ¼ to 3/8 inch thick and arrange on a platter alternating with thin slices of mozzarella topped with basil.
Drizzle Balsamic dressing over salad and season with salt and pepper.
